nah pop, no style

Saturday evening, Pammer and I went to Thai Gourmet, which I may or may not have discussed on here before. It’s a tasty nook in Bloomfield, a couple blocks down from the slightly fancier looking (and more popular, at least on Saturday night, apparently) Thai Cuisine. The food is good (and they give you a lot; we could easily have split one entree) and the decor is kind of hilarious (a mix of southeast Asian kitsch and American kitsch) but the thing that stuck out this time was that the inside of the welcome sign, which says “THANK YOU” at the top, said simply:

VAGANS

I don’t know if that meant vegans, or something else, and whether or not it was supposed to be a continuation of the “THANK YOU” part or just a random assemblage. However, I appreciated it.

Also, my fortune said that my lucky number this week is 9. The flip side listed my lucky numbers. None of which was 9.

Also, this morning I was handed a fax that came to my workplace that says:

hang on to your believe in G od and
your gun in believe in God vote mcain no
aborition with out God you are nothing!!!
McCain VOTE FOR McCAIN

It goes on to note that this applies “If you are a Christian, Catholic, White, Black, Oriental, Spanish.”
