short list.
In the interest of keeping us posi (you and me both), here are some things I’m stoked about right now.
- Last night’s show. Bands were darling and good, films were hilarious, cookies were eaten, sweet folks attended, I’ve got no complaints.
- Xmas specials. It’s that time of year. Rudolph is on tomorrow night. I will be in front of my huge TV, reciting most of the lines along with the characters (”This fog is thick as peanut butter!” “You mean pea soup.” “YOU EAT WHAT YOU LIKE, I’LL EAT WHAT I LIKE!”)
- Onodrim. I forgot to mention after the Oxford Collapse show, but they killed — they sounded better than we (being Hedgeman’s last band) ever did, I think. Good rock music.
- Steelers. Crushing the Patriots. Favorite part of the game, which I unfortunately can’t track down video of, was when Pierre Woods tried to lay a pretty nasty helmet-to-helmet tackle on Heath Miller after a 19-yard reception. Miller got right back up (having gotten a first down), Woods went to the bench with a bloody mouth. Seeya sucker!
I thought of you when I saw the ad for the Rudolph jam. it’s in High Def now!!! (Is that a good thing???)
We shall see. I have one of those digital converters now, and a big TV, so maybe it’ll look totally smashing. I hope.
