The screen name arose from my love of 80s thrash metal and my profession as a librarian (duh). I work at the University of Pittsburgh as the Metadata Librarian for Digital Production in the Digital Research Library. Other interests include rock, metal, and punk music, horror and exploitation cinema, beer, and role-playing games.
